Prepare LongClaw for Linux x64
The Linux preview targets x86_64 desktops, with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS used as the current compatibility baseline.

Installation steps
- 01Install desktop dependencies
Ubuntu and Debian users need GTK 3 and WebKitGTK 4.1.
sudo apt install libgtk-3-0 libwebkit2gtk-4.1-0 - 02Extract the release
Unpack the downloaded archive in a directory you control.
tar -xzf longclaw-<version>-linux-amd64.tar.gz - 03Run the user installer
The bundled script installs the binary, desktop entry, and icon under ~/.local.
cd longclaw-<version>-linux-amd64 && ./install.sh - 04Start LongClaw
Launch it from the application menu or directly from your user bin directory.
~/.local/bin/longclaw
